India is undeniably the next queen of the teen entertainment scene. After experiencing a measure of success, India has moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles where she is recording and taking acting classes. India is 15 years old, lively and smart, charmingly cute and pleasantly petite enough to play acting roles of girls ages 12-17. She also excels as a singer,dancer and musician. India undoubtedly is the next heart throb and role model for young children and teens. India is going to take the nation by storm by creating an excitement like never before.
India sold 1,000 demo CDs during her 2008 performance at America Sings and has established a strong following.
India is a house hold name and has been requested by celebrities to perform at their childrens' birthday parties. What’s more, DeShawn Snow of “The Real Atlanta Housewives” requested India to be a celebrity opening act for her foundation for children.
India has also made a mark on bigger stages as well. Her rendition of “Tomorrow” from the infamous stage play “Annie” yielded the credit of her being the first Black child to play the leading role in an all-White cast. She made history again when she played the young Nala in the Broadway production of “The Lion King.” .
India’s performances merit much praise, and Disney's Casting Director Mark Brandon, who chose her for the Broadway role, stated, “India is a special girl. She is a strong singer, dancer and actress and has that special something that makes her stand out among crowds." Further, India takes pride in fulfilling roles that have positive messages, which is her method of helping build high self-esteem, particularly in young girls. Her debut single, “Wrong Move,” is a powerful anthem for young girls that definitely promotes self-esteem. And, her latest song, “Your Girl,” is a real crowd pleaser that boasts of a “get up and dance” groove.
